Bespoke Home is Samsung's customizable appliance line, designed to revolutionize home personalization through bold, colorful appliances that reflect individual style. Launching Samsung's first Bespoke Home in the U.S., we focused on empowering self-expression and creating a seamless, premium experience.

The Challenge

While Samsung’s refrigerator customization tool was highly successful, the challenge was to expand this experience to a full suite of premium appliances. The new tool needed to be inspiring, educational, and robust while maintaining consistency with the existing refrigerator tool. Balancing innovation with cohesion, we aimed to deliver an immersive kitchen customization experience.

Design Process

We began by analyzing data and user insights from the existing tool, paired with insights from existing customers and a competitor audit. These findings highlighted an opportunity to create a truly unique experience for the kitchen remodel market. Using this foundation, I developed wireframes, user journeys, and task flows, collaborating with a small, agile team of designers, developers, and strategists. The project was phased into an MVP launch, followed by a post-MVP rollout to ensure continuous improvement and scalability.

Solution & Metrics

The revamped experience drove significant engagement, with 64% of all Samsung refrigerators purchased through the kitchen simulator tool. Traffic to key categories increased, boosting revenue and improving conversion rates. By enhancing usability and performance, Samsung solidified its position as an industry leader, with the tool poised for ongoing updates and expansion.
